Explore is a collection of pieces written for my family.
My Love was written for the woman who walks beside me, supports me, and loves me despite all my flaws and mood swings.
Arianna Sophie was written for an angel who fell to Earth, whom I have the honor of caring for as my daughter in this life.
Nathan Mikael was written for a guardian who has accompanied me as my son since 2018, helping me grow and heal a little more each day along my journey.
There are no words capable of expressing my gratitude to these three human beings who make up my family today, so I chose to let my love for them resonate through music.
The result is this album.
The second track on the album, “Comptine d’un autre été, l’après-midi,” is a tribute to Yann Tiersen. Through this piece, I want to thank him for creating a melody that I deeply love, and which I have managed—more or less successfully—to harmonize with the sound of the waves of Cattolica, Italy.
