Family Constellations are a method of personal growth and psychological exploration developed by the German psychotherapist Bert Hellinger. This approach is based on the idea that within every family there exists a \u201csystemic field,\u201d an invisible network of bonds and energies that deeply connects its members, even across generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The goal of Family Constellations<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Is to bring to light hidden dynamics, unconscious loyalties, and family entanglements (i.e., unconscious identifications with other members of the family system) that may negatively influence our life, relationships, work, health, or emotional well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How a Family Constellation works<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During a session, the participant presents a personal issue. The facilitator guides them in representing their family system using other participants (in a group) or objects\/symbols (in an individual session). These representatives come into contact with the \u201cfield\u201d of the system and, through body language and emotions, deep dynamics emerge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An experiential approach<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is not a traditional verbal therapy, but an experiential and phenomenological process that works on a deep and often non-rational level. Changes are not always immediate but can gradually manifest in everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
