A moment worse more than a thousand words.
👁️ What is “One Minute of Humanity”?
It’s a simple and powerful invitation:
To meet someone in silence,
To look at each other in the eyes,
without speaking,
and reconnect.
Not like strangers, not as a social level, not as a label.
But as a Human Being.
A moment to slow down and rediscover the truth that we often forget:
We are all part of the same family.
💞 How does it work
- Two people sit or stand in front of each other.
- In silence, they meet in the eyes for at leat a minute.
- There is no need to talk.
The encounter is all there : in the eyes, in the presence, in the truth of the other.
It can happen between friends, in family or between strangers.
Between younglings and elders, neighbours or people passing by.
Everywhere. In many ways.
🌍 Why doing it?
Because we live in a world that speaks too much and doesn’t listen enough.
A world which is running, dividing and forgetting.
It only takes 60 seconds of honest presence to break the distance.
To light up a spark of empathy, peace, and mutual acknowledgment.
To look another being in the eyes…
is to remember that we’re not alone.
